Homeopathy for Horses :-
This is a branch of medicine which states that any substance that can cause a problem, disease or symptom, can also be the principle cure. IE Treating “like with like”. The remedies are generally sourced from animal, vegetable or mineral. The uniqueness of homoeopathic is that some poisonous plants can be used as a remedy. For example Belladonna is actually sourced from Deadly Nightshade. The preparation of the remedies is far to complex to go into here, but basically its based on a series of dilutions and solutions!! As with so many therapies, to decide which remedy is best for your horse, you should treat him as a whole not just the symptom. Homoeopathic is not a quick fix solution, but can have very successful results.
