About
The Alternative Horse Society:
We aim to provide a directory of professional, dedicated therapists, trainers and holistic methods of horse management.
To help the horse loving public find the correct therapist for them and their horse.
To promote the trainers wherever possible and support them in their work.
The Alternative Horse Society was founded in 2004 by Kathrine Wilson, who has a life long passion and involvement with horses and ponies from all walks of life. She has studied and qualified in the Monty Roberts methods with Kelly Marks, and Equine Sports Massage with Equinology. She has attended demos and courses with Richard Maxwell, Mark Rashid, John Moore, Ben Hart, Micheal Peace and Heather Moffet. She continues to study horse behaviour, methods etc. Kathrine has had articles published in several horse magazines: including Horse Scene Magazine, Absolute Horse, Pegasus, Country Market and Equi-Ads.
Residential courses will be available next year for you to come to Kent and study these methods for yourselves. Please check back with the site after Christmas for dates, prices, and availabilty.
