over 23 years experience in riding, competing and owning
horses. I will assess you and your Horse, and help you with
a fitness program incorporating Shiatsu massage suitable
for any discipline for both Horse and Rider. Shiatsu is a
Japanese word meaning finger pressure "Shi" - meaning finger
and "atsu" - meaning
pressure. Using the same principals as Acupuncture (without
the needles) and Acupressure, it is a traditional hands-on
therapy which can help a wide range of conditions. From general
symptoms of poor health (both mental and physical), to specific
injuries, or to just be a relaxing massage to promote wellbeing.It
is used to re-balance energy throughout the body. This energy
is called Chi or sometimes Qi or Ki, It is directed through
the body along channels known as Meridians. Shiatsu is a
gentle non-invasive therapy, using stretches, and rotations,
and always works alongside, and with vetinary referral.
