"Idle hooves are the devils workshop." - Pat Parelli Scotland South East North West Central South West S. Ireland

Amanda Rothwell

Equine Therapy and Rehabilitation Covering the North West England Area.

I have over 20 years of equestrian experience and have owned horses since the age of 9. I have competed in dressage, western riding and show jumping
and now ride western and classical dressage. I have worked as a groom on most types of yards and have taught riding for able and disabled adults and children and continue to do so. In 2001 I became an Equine Body Worker. In 2003 I gained my Equine Body Worker Level Two qualification. I have since gone on to study Myofasical Release Therapy and The Equine Touch.

Equine Assisted Therapy is a powerful and effective approach that has an incredible impact on individuals, youths, families and groups. Equine Assisted Therapy addresses a variety of human development and mental health needs including behavioral problems, ADHD and ADD, substance abuse, eating disorders, abuse issues, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, communication needs and leadership skills.
