TTEAM UK
TTEAM is the forward thinking approach to training, handling and rehabilitation. It blends well with other training techniques and is used around the world by competition riders, pleasure riders, physiotherapists, trainers, veterinarians and veterinary nurses and riding instructors etc.
Linda Tellington Jones, the founder and developer of TTEAM, wrote the first physical therapy book for horses in 1960. Her life long interest in the performance and behaviour of horses combined with her outstanding career as a competitive rider to develop this unique method in 1975.
TTEAM uses body work, ground work and ridden exercises to help improve co-ordination, balance, co-operation and trust. As posture affects behaviour unwanted reactions such as biting, pulling back when tied, bucking, spooking, loading issues, rearing, napping etc diminish without the need to rely on techniques that use dominance, fear or force. It is kind, effective and easy to learn. TTEAM teaches a horse to act rather than simply react.
