Leading and Loading.
(Please note this workshop can only be taken when you have
attended the Horse Behaviour Workshop).
This one-day workshop is designed to follow
on from the Horse Behaviour Workshop. Once you have a good
understanding of how the horse is thinking and learning,
many ‘so
called problems’ disappear. From what we have learned
in the previous course we will put the ideas and concepts
into practice, ensuring we have a horse that leads well and
is happy to load into a trailer or lorry.

Introduction to Long Lining.
Long lining is a very useful ‘tool’ to have in
your box of ideas. It’s not just beneficial for youngsters!
It can be a great way of bringing a horse back into work, adds
variety to his exercise programme, is much more interesting
than conventional lunging, great for your own fitness, and
a lovely way of watching your horse work. You can introduce
new schooling moves from the ground, you can see how your horse
is moving, if he has any problems, stiffness etc. (I know,
we should all be able to feel the problems, but we aren’t
all perfect riders…) And its fun!!
